With winter solidly upon us, we are continually reminded who is really in charge. Mother Nature has a way of getting our attention when we least expect it. On occasion, the message she sends requires us to make decisions about school. Closing school due to inclement weather is never easy. Rest assured, however, that we will do everything possible to hold classes each and every day as usual. On those occasions when it is necessary to close school, we do so in deference to the safety needs of students, parents and staff.
Hopefully, Mother Nature will be kind to us this winter. In the event she is not, take comfort in the fact that school officials, with the cooperation of local authorities, monitor weather patterns literally 24 hours a day. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation when foul weather strikes and take heart in the fact that Spring is just around the corner.
